Ramon A. “Fel” Felix, Jr., transitioned to his heavenly home, surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the age of 75. He was a native of Colon, Republic of Panama and resident of Gretna, LA. Ramon traveled and worked in many foreign countries as a merchant marine and later returned home to work and retire as a painter at Avondale Shipyard. Not forgetting, he was a master fisherman. Loving husband of the late Mammie Lee Humphrey. Father of Mary L. Humphrey. Beloved son of the late Ramon A. Felix, Sr. and Loriann Declair. Reared by his loving Grandmother the late Virdel Dean. Grandfather of Antongio Humphrey, Carlton (Malika) Spencer, and Ebony Spencer (Cory Fort). Great grandfather of Lydida, Lynyri, Quin “Sahn” Charles, Madison, Malika, and Carlton Spencer. Brother of Enrique (Kathleen) Newball, and the late Reinaldo Archbold. Ramon is also survived by his devoted friends, Steve Terry, Dewitt Lewis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time. Interment: Will be private.
