Peter Roy Walter, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 31, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Loving father of Shaunquell Coleman, Fredrick Watkins, and Peter Bryant. Loving grandfather of Daliyah and Mekhi Coleman. Beloved son of Mildred Walter and the late Pete Adams. Brother of Charles and Emanuel Walter, Royal, Terry, Elton, and Ronald Hawthorne, Natasha, Martha, and Shirley Walter, Elsie and Constance Hawthorne, Janice, Marina, Meridia, Sandra, Romana, and Alfreda Adams, and the late Charles Adams, and Jerome Adams. Nephew of the late George Spears and Sammie White. Peter is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
