PAULA DENISE TOUSSAINT

Paula Denise Toussaint completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the age of 35. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Paula was a graduate of North Texas Job Corp, and she received a certification in Advance Culinary Arts and Certified Nurse Assistant.  “Mesha”, as she was affectionately known by family and friends was a former employee with Acadian Home Care as a personal care assistant. Beloved daughter of Cedrick Redmond, Sr., and Paula Jean Toussaint. Stepdaughter of Dennis Garrett and Tamike Redmond. Bonus daughter of Catherine Wings. Granddaughter of the late Rudolph Presley, Emma Redmond, Thomas and Lavenia Stokes. Sister of Darrion Wings, Cedric Redmond, Jr., Latoya Oquinn-Thomas, Ciara Toussaint, Robin Toussaint, Tyisha Toussaint, Lisa Toussaint, Cedricka Redmond, Tamike Redmond, Tierra Redmond, Sedrica Redmond, Kierra Redmond, Shamike Redmond, and Jamike McClure. Aunt of the late Jamal and Jamel Earls. Paula is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, pastor, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expwy, Marrero, LA on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
