Patricia Ann Dumas Jackson, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the age 75. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Patricia was affectionately known as “Patty Cakes,” “Luv,” and “Ma Ma” by her loving family, “Toteen” by friends, and “Wonder Woman” by those who lived on Mansfield Avenue was a retired accounting and exporting specialist. Patricia was a faithful and active member of St Joseph the Worker Catholic, where she participated in several ministries, The Good Shepard Ministry, The Rosary Group, The St. Joseph’s Altar Committe just to name a few.
Beloved mother of Dielda Jackson Robertson (Dennis), Keyna L. Jackson, and LaWanna Jackson Davis (Clarence). Devoted grandmother of Dennis James Robertson, III, Kaiden O’Neal Johnson, and Clarence Joseph Davis, Jr. Daughter of the late O’Neal and Lily Dumas. Sister of Mary Dumas Acklin (late Vernell Acklin) and the late Bryan Gerard Dumas Sr. Former wife of Merlin Jackson. Preceded in death by several brothers-in-law; also survived by sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also priest, and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. and Recitation of Rosary at 8:30a.m. Father Sidney Speaks, Celebrant. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
