Pamala Thompson Wheeler, age 55, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at 4:30 am. She was a native of Transylvania, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. She was a former employee of Mike Anderson’s, and Boomtown Casino. Pamela was also owner of Bright Beginnings Day Care. Beloved wife of Vencent Wheeler. Loving mother of Alexandria Wheeler, and Anthony Wheeler. Stepmother of Jared Brown. Beloved daughter of Eddie Mae Porter and the late Albert Porter, Jr. Sister of Albert Porter, III, and Joyce Johnson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Calvary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Mike Anderson’s, and Boomtown Casino are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Calvary Baptist Church, 2401 General De Gaulle Dr., New Orleans, LA. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at the above-named church.
