NOAH MORGAN

Noah Morgan departed this life on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the age of 91. He was a native of Wakefield, LA and a resident of Westwego LA. Noah was a retired roofer with Stander Roofing Company, and he was Master Mason with the Pride of New Orleans Lodge # 152. Devoted father of Rosa Mae (Charles) Williams, Gloria Lollis, Shirley (Patrick), Carrie Lee, Vernon (Diedra) Gaines, and Brian Jenkins of Los Angeles, CA. Stepfather of Lester Gaines. Son of the late James “Jim” and Carrie Reed Morgan. Grandson of the late George and Kitty Morgan, and Ripp Reed. Brother of Ethel Carter and the late William Morgan, and Henrietta Vessel. Godfather of Ethel J. Honore. Preceded in death by 1 grandchild, also survived by 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members Little Mt. Olive Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Mt. Olive Baptist Church 3709 General Taylor St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time.
