NILA VIOLA CROSS

Nila Viola Cross, age 72, entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was a Native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Nila was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She was a retired Social Worker with the Louisiana Department of Social Services and was awarded a certificate of appreciation for 25 years of dedicated service to the State of Louisiana and its citizens. Nila was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. Beloved daughter of the late Christopher C. Cross and Christine Thomas Cross. Granddaughter of the late Alice Thomas. Loving Sister of Kelly L. Cross, Christopher C. Cross, and the late Mark M. Cross and Gordon L. Cross. Nila is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Private service was held.
