NICHOLAS JONES

Nicholas Jones entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the age of 87. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Nicholas served his country in the US Army and he retired in 1977 from Loomis Armored, Inc. Devoted husband of the late Florence Jones. Beloved father of Octavia (Stanley) Riley, Alexis (Joe) Claiborne, Milliouns, Maxmilliouns, and Emexes Jones, Joan Thibdeaux, Kevin Weary and the late Nicole and Nicholas Jones, Patricia Francis, and Aaron Thibdeaux. Son of the late David and Evelyn Jones. Brother of Helen Green, and the late Stella, David, Elvira, Edward, and Bernice Jones, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Providence Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Greater Providence Baptist Church, 623 Newton St. New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
