NATHANIEL "TUNY" LEVY, JR.

Nathaniel “Tuny” Levy Jr. departed this life at Legacy Nursing Home in Tallulah, LA on Monday June 17, 2024, at age 61. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Nathaniel was a graduate of John Ehret High School and a former maintenance worker with Pinnacle Motels. Husband of Elaine Jimcoily Levy. Father of Dante Bonds. Stepfather of Denise and Derrick Jimcoily. Grandfather of Dante Mayfield, Garylika Jimcoily, and Ja’Niyah Jimcoily. Great grandfather of Ma’Khi Jimcoily and Twain Edwards. Beloved son of the late Nathaniel Sr., and Nathalie Weber Levy. Grandson of the late Sidney Weber, Sr. and Permella Carter Weber, Everette and Lora Levy. Loving brother of Karen M. Levy Alexander (Fiancé Dwayne Johnson) and the late Kelvin J. Levy. Uncle of Raihaan (Reanne) Alexender Sr. Great uncle of  Raihaan Alexander, Jr.,Ra'Jai Alexander and Ta’Reha Dampremont. Godson of Curtis Carter, Jr. and Stephanie W. Evans. Godfather of Dylan Lemieux and Torione Francis Young. Brother-in-law of Dwayne Jimcoily, Doris Cook, Evelyn Butler, Carolyn Watson, Cassandra Franklyn, Janice Jones, Yolanda Favorite, Gayland Williams, Shelia Jimcoily, and the late Shirley Felo. Nathaniel is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers, and members of Regular Baptist Church, St. Mary Baptist Church, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Mount Calvary International Worship Center, New Zion Baptist Church, Macedonia Baptist Church, priest and parishioner of St Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Exxon Mobile (Baton Rouge), City of Gretna, 2nd Parish Court, 24th Judicial Court, USDA, UPS, National Maintenance, Big lots and the United States Postal Service are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Ernest Weber, officiating.
