MURPHY CLARK, SR.

Murphy Clark, Sr., age 89, entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Monday, October 26, 2026. He was a native of Leonville, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Murphy was a retired bus driver with the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA). He was a faithful parishioner of St Joseph The Worker Catholic Church and member of The Forest Organization. Loving father of Lucretia Clark, Farneshia Celestain, and the late Murphy Clark, Jr. Son of the late John Clark, Jr. and Amilda Landrio Clark. Beloved brother of Sidney Clark, Amilda Clark Charles, Eleanor Clark Domatto, and the late Octavia Clark R. Tyler, Orelia Clark Carter, Raymond Clark, Vincent Clark, and Henry J. Clark. Also cherishing his memories are a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Father Sidney O.
