Morris Brown, age 70, departed this life on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Chateau D’Ville Rehab and Retirement Center in Donaldsonville, LA. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Morris was a veteran of the United States Army. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn Brown. Loving father of Rashelle Brown. Grandfather of Briana, Brandell, Brinaya, and Brandus Brown. Great grandfather of Brayden Brown, Zahra Hulbert, and Xamir Hulbert.  Son of the late Ernest W. Brown, Sr. and Ollie C. Brown. Grandson of the late Vance and Moddie Long Clark. Brother of Ernest (Vivian), Levator (Jennifer), Nathaniel, and Anthony (Vanessa) Brown, Ollie Dickens, Annalisa Jackson, Linda Fay Brown, and the late Floyd (Yvette) Jackson and LaVertta Brown Hubbard. Morris is also survived a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA ON Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
