Morris E. Biggs, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the age of 86. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Morris was educated in the New Orleans Public School System, and he was a retired employee with the Times Picayune of New Orleans as a truck driver. He was a member of Jolly Bunch and NOMTOC Social Aid and Pleasure Club. Beloved husband of Carolyn Biggs. Loving father of Cynthia B. Henerson, Sharon B. Buggage, Wanda Biggs, Daryl Biggs, Kirk Jenkins Biggs, Sr., Dwayne Biggs, Gregory Jenkins, Troy Jenkins, Brian Jenkins, Yolanda Antoine, and the late Morris E. Biggs, Jr., Marvell Biggs, and Ronald Jenkins, Jr. Son of the late Milton Biggs and Sarah Rose Rivers. Brother of the late Milton Biggs, Alvin Biggs, and Edith Mae Rivers, also survived by 48 grandchildren, 96 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
