Merton Shane Bailey entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the age of 45. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Merton was employed as a laborer. Beloved father of Sha’Niya Lanay Storey, Sha’Myrie Lanaye Bailey, and Sha’Lajah Ann Bailey. Son of the late Sandra Ann Bailey and Alfonse Melvin Chatman. Brother Melvin Shawn Bailey, Shanna Marie Jones, and the late Joshua Terrell Mason, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Private Services Will Be Held.
