MELVIN STREET, SR.

Melvin Street, Sr., entered eternal rest at his residence on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the age of 69. He was a native of Simsboro, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. He was employed as a pipefitter with Hydril. Devoted father of Melvin Street, Jr. Beloved son of the late Robert Street, Sr. and Estelle Street. Brother of Patricia Austin, Priscilla Davis, and the late Robert, Jr., Johnny, Andy, Jewell, Thomas, Linda, Etta Mae, and Edna, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating.
