Maurice Durel Cornin, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 2, 2021, at the age of 32. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Maurice was a graduate of L W. High School and was employed as a construction worker. Devoted father of Siyae Johnson, Maurice Cornin, Jr., Makai Cornin, Malaysia Collins, and Montana Noble. Beloved son of Monique Cornin and the late Ernest Carraby. Grandson of Paulette Cornin, Robert Sansone, Beverly Carraby, and the late Joseph Wilkerson. Brother of Wellington Cornin, Ernest Sam, Ernesha Sam, Erenice Sam, Ariel Roger, and the late Ronald Cornin. Nephew of the late Ronald Cornin, Jr. and Ronnie Cornin. Companion of Quinece Noble, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
