MAUDRY MAE STEWART BROWN

Maudry Mae Stewart-Brown transitioned into eternal rest, on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and resident of New Orleans, LA. Maudry was a retired Supervisor with Hotel Monteleone. Devoted wife of the late Paul Brown Sr. Beloved mother of Roslyn L. Landry, Johnaton (Josie) Louis and Saconda Stewart-Rice. Daughter of the late Reverend Morris Stewart and Celestine Jasmin Stewart. Sister of Clementine S. Young, Evelina Sam, Amelia (Earl) Donald, Betty S. Stewart (James), Merita S. (Raymond) Victorian, Enoch (Darrel Ann) Stewart, and the late Irene S. Sims, Vernia S. Shepherd, Benjamin Stewart, Sr., and Morris Stewart Jr., also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church, Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, Guiding Light Missionary Baptist Church, Regular Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Vacherie, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Heart 2 Heart Family Worship Center, 3631 Washington Ave., New Orleans, LA., on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 10:00a.m.  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until the service at the above named church.  Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery - Metairie, LA.
