MARY MARGARETE JOSEPH PORTER

Mary Margarete Joseph Porter entered into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the age of 74. She was a native of Breaux Bridge, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Mary was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Devoted wife of the late Willie Earl Porter.  Beloved mother of Kristina Michell (Reginald) Ernest. Daughter of the late Alton and Julia Joseph. Sister of Maudrey Bradley of Brownsville, TX, Lou Anna Lewis of Breaux Bridge, LA, and the late Marshall Joseph, Audrey Joseph, Albertha Menard, and Jessie Joseph, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA, on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
