MARVIN CHARLES JONES, JR.

Marvin Charles Jones, Jr. entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the age
of 80. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Marvin was a graduate of G.W. Carver High School and Southern University. He served his country in the United States Army for 3 years. Marvin retired after 23 years as a service employee with the Department of Public Safety and Corrections. Beloved father of Theresa and Moesha Canselo. Stepfather of Paul Ruiz Kelly and Alaina Colby. Grandfather of Colby Steed.Son of the late Marvin Charles Jones, Sr. and Emma Davalie. Brother of Shaquita Jones. Former husband of Juanita Hawkins. Companion of the late Phillezo Canselo.Marvin also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
