MARKEY GREEN

Markey Green entered eternal rest on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the age of 68. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Fort Worth, TX. Markey was educated in the Orleans Parish School System, and he was employed as an auto mechanic. He loved cooking, playing dominoes, storytelling, creating designs, and spending time with family and close family. Beloved husband of Aundra Green. Loving father Markeith Parker, Sr., Monneika Parker, Marco (Kelly) Parker, Sr., and Ivory McElroy. Son of the late Hurley Green, Sr. and Hannah W. Green. Grandson of the late Connie Raphael. Brother of Eartha (Wilfred) Bolds, Sr., Pamela Green, Gaynell (Chris, Sr.) Bean, Leonard (Annette) Green, and the late Celestine G. Dobbs, Hurley Green, Jr., Herdy “Hampton” Green, and Louis Green, Sr. Devoted uncle of Louis Green, Jr., and the late Brian Keith Dobbs. Brother in law of Wilfred Bolds, Sr., Chris Bean, Sr., and Annette G. Green. He was preceded in death by 3 aunts, and 5 uncles. Markey is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 nieces, 21 nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Bishop L.
