MARK OTIS SANDERS, JR.

Mark Otis Sanders, Jr. departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the age of 49. He was a native of Toledo, OH and a resident of Marrero, LA. Mark was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System and employed with TCI Trucking Company. Loving father of Aviance Champagne of Pasadena TX, Caroline Green, Markaila O. Sanders, and Mark O. Sanders, III of Manfield, TX. Beloved son of Sylvester Davis, Paulette Davis, and the late Mark Otis Sanders, Sr. Grandson of the late Southern and Merine Sanders. Brother of Rodney Banks, Dominick Banks, Marlyn Davis, Karen Davis, and the late Marcus, Xavier, and Jerome Banks. Mark is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ and all neighboring churches; employees of TCI Trucking Company are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ, 1515 Whitney Ave. Gretna, LA on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith E.
