MARILYN PICOU JOHNSON

Marilyn Picou Johnson entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the age of 64. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Marilyn was educated in the Orleans Parish School System, and she was a retired cook. Beloved wife of Steven Johnson. Devoted mother of Iriyan Henderson, Steven Thomas, Edward Henderson, and Morgan Johnson. Daughter of the late Lester Picou, Sr. and Yvonne Picou. Sister of Elton Picou, Roslyn Bolden, Beverly Picou, and the late Delvin Picou, Michael Picou, Elaine Picou, and Phyllis Picou. Marilyn is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday October 2, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Rev.
