MARGARET OVERSTREET PATIN

Margaret Overstreet Patin entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the age of 96. She was a native of Lakeland, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Margaret was a retired certified nurse assistant of JoEllen Smith Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Morris Patin, Sr. Loving mother of Wakeelah (Kasib) Hakeem, Eula Scott, Barbara (Vernon) Jones, Raymond (Marilyn) Patin, Sr. and the late Morris Patin, Jr. Grandmother of the late Jamal Scott. Great great grandmother of Kayson Charles Williams. Daughter of the late John Overstreet and Grace Sambo Green. Stepdaughter of the late Willie Green. Sister of the late Louis Overstreet, and Anna Sambo, also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday December 1, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment:  Bab Al-Rahma-Belle Chasse, LA.
