MADELIN F. THIRUNAVUKARASU

Madelin F. Thirunavukarasu, age 74, entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Madelin retired from Popeyes after 42 years as a Manager and was currently employed for the past 5 years as a Patient Administrator with West Jefferson Medical Center. Devoted mother of Floria, Kathy, Shunell, and the late Ernest Francois, Jr. Beloved daughter of the late Albert Vincent Parker, and Floria Cavalier Palmore. Loving sister of Eulla France “Bonnie” Scott, Vincent Cavalier, and the late Irvin Cavalier. Mother-in-law of Ivan Johnson. Madelin is also survived by her former husband Gopinath Thirunavukarasu, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A memorial service was held at World of Truth Fellowship, 5333 Tullis Drive, New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00a.m. Rev. Herbert Broussard, officiated.
