LUCILLE ELLA MAE PETERSON

Lucille Ella Mae Peterson entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the age of 70. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Lucille was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School, and a retired employee of  AT&T (formerly Bell South). Beloved mother of Demond (LaKora) Ricard, and Kaydrelle Ricard. Daughter of the late Arthur Peterson Sr. and Lillian Parker Peterson. Sister of the late Emelda Barrow, Gertie P. Hebert, Riley, Bernadette, and Arthur Peterson Jr., Lois P. and Linda Williams, Janice P. Franklin, and Adrell P. Eriom. Sister-in-law of Evelyn Peterson. Godmother of LaTisha Gardner. Former wife of Robert Ricard. Lucille is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Shiloh Baptist Church of Gretna, and all neighboring churches; L.B. Landry Class of 1970 are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Shiloh Baptist Church of Gretna, 723 Magellan Street Gretna, LA on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Larry Davis, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
