Louise Scott, age 98, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was a native of White Castle, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Louise was a retired cook, and an active member of Second Salvation Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. Beloved mother of Ola Mae (Clarence) Harris, Dorethea (Willie) Brooks, Anna Rose, Annette Williams, Leonard (Brenda) Williams, Jr., and Hazel (James) Fox. Adopted mother of Verna Wiley. Daughter of the late Robert Scott, Sr., and Elizabeth Green Scott. Sister of the late Ernest Dunn, Reese Dunn, Robert Scott, Jr., Adeline Richard, Beatrice Williams, Josephine Solite, Eva Kelly, Evelina Williams, and Rose Brown. Louise is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Salvation Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Second Salvation Baptist Church, 212 Marrero St. Bridge City, LA on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
