LOUIS LOLLIS, JR.

Louis Lollis, Jr. entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the age of 66. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Louis proudly served his country in the United States Marines for 22 years as a Gunnery Sergeant. For his bravery he received numerous commendations, including the Purple Heart. After completing his military career, Louis gained employment as a hotel Safety and Loss Prevention Officer. Beloved husband of Monica F. Lollis. Devoted father of Chelsea Lollis, Troy Lollis and Alexis Lollis. Son of the late Louis Lollis, Sr. and Mary Lee Stirgus. Loving brother of Glenn (Rose) Lollis, Wayne (Kaye) Lollis, Sr., Debra Lollis, Michelle Lollis, and the late Troy Edward Loiis. Also cherishing his memories are 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Torrey Fingal of Empowerment Church of NOLA, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
