LOUIS CHARLES JAMES

Louis Charles James, age 67, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at his residence. He was a native of Lettsworth, LA and a resident for New Orleans, LA. Louis was a graduate of Pointe Coupee Parish School System and was a retired employee of Avondale Shipyard. Loving father of Ronnie Smith (Cynthia Lee) of Batchelor, LA, Latrice Alexander (Nicholas) of Harvey, LA and Ezonda LeBan of Houston, TX. Devoted grandfather of Yarva Williams Smith (Nikita), Nicholas Alexander, Jr., NyXavier Alexander, Teih Taylor (Darele),  Daveon Wilson, and the late Ketron McDonald. Great grandfather of Vyctoria Edwards, Marcel Bowman, and Ny’keya Williams. Son of the late Lula James. Brother of Andrew Lee James (Deborah) and the late Patsy James and Clarence James. Godfather of Kimberly Dickerson. Father-in-law of the late Eewanyia Smith.  Louis is also survived by his companion Linda Sims, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
