LORENZA EDWARDS

Lorenza Edwards entered eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday October 27, 2026, at the age of 71. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Lorenza was a daycare owner and a former employee of McDonald’s. Daughter of the late Joseph Edwards. Sr. and Celestine M. Edwards. Stepdaughter of Betsy Pittman. Sister of Terry, Sr., Jerry Sr., Joseph, Jr., Oliver, Stacy, Marguerite, and Veronica Edwards, Rufus Jenkins, Jr., Shelia Jasmine, Morgorine Williams, Theresa (Kirtlin) Flot, and Irene (Donald) Taylor. Godmother of Darnell I. Edwards, and Sylveste Page. Aunt of Queen and Precious, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastor, officers and members of St. Mary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Mary Baptist Church 6223 Sixth Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Rev.
