MOTHER LOIS ANN CHARLES

Lois “MaMee” Boudreaux Charles, age 82, entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday, December 3, 2023. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Lois was a graduate of Lincoln High School and a retired Custodian of the Jefferson Parish Public School System. She was an active member of Philadelphia Ministries International and served as mother of church. Beloved wife of the late John Earl Davis. Devoted mother of Cornell (Vanessa), Myron (Ernestine), and Randy (Ahrionne) Davis, Corey (Barbara) Bethley, and the late Terry and Kedrick Davis. Daughter of the late Aristed “Steve” Boudreaux, Sr. and Alma Boudreaux. Granddaughter of the late Thomas Goffner, Sophia Walker, Frank and Albertine Boudreaux. Loving sister of Aristed Jr., Larry (Lordia), Dwayne (Maria), and Darryl (Rosalind) Boudreaux, Steven Washington, Brenda B. Griffin, Madeline B. Royal, Sheila B. Eskinde, and Darlene Williams. Niece of Grace Sumner; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Philadelphia Ministries International and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Philadelphia Ministries International, 3181 Destrehan Avenue, Harvey, LA on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James E. Daniel, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
