LIONEL KNOTEN

Lionel Knoten departed this life on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the age of 61.  He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. He was employed as a Car Detailer. Loving father of Nicole Knoten. Beloved son of the late Pastor Solomon Knoten, Sr. and Lottie Mae Knoten. Grandson of the late Hawkin and Roxie Knoten, Henry, Sr. and Lillie Banks. Devoted brother of Rev. Solomon Knoten, Jr., Purcell Knoten, Artruly Harris, Roxie Gasper, Lottie Washington, and Mary Favorite. Uncle of the late Andrew Washington, Jr., and Thomas Joseph Gasper, IV. Lionel is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Bethel Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
