Lionel Godfrey Christophe, III departed this life at Slidell Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the age of 57. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA. Lionel was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and attended Southern University. He was the owner and CEO of Louisiana's Contractor LLC. Son of Lionel G. Christophe, Jr. and the late Barbara Jean Jackson. Grandson of the late Philip J. Jackson, Sr., Iona Cole Granger, Lionel Christophe, Sr., and Angelina Christophe. Brother of Antony Christophe Hollingsworth.Stepbrother of Dana Hunter.  Uncle of Anya, Aria, and Emerson Hollingsworth. Nephew of Mary Ann Torregano, Brenda Christophe, Evelyn Hall, Delores Christophe, Charles Jackson, Jackson Christophe, and the late Rev. Paul Jones, Sr., Phillip J. Jackson, Jr., John Granger, Claudia B. Harris, Ophelia J. Smith, Patricia Booker, and Carolyn Christophe. Brother in law of Ursula Hollingsworth. Cousin of Karen, Darryl, Blair, Debbie, Kevin Christophe, Dr. Keithen Jones, Koshy Levon Cartwright, Sr., Judge Sharlayne Jackson Prevost, Trisean Wilson, Gwendolyn Forges, and Georgia Gray, . Lionel is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
