Linda Lewis

Linda Hayes Lewis, age 73, departed this life on Sunday July 3, 2022, at The Sanctuary at Passage Hospice. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Linda was a graduate of Xavier University, and a retired educator of the Jefferson Parish Public School System. Wife of the late Robert Lewis, Sr. Devoted mother of Aaron (Lenora) Lewis and Robert (Irene) Lewis. Daughter of the late Lemon Hayes and Bertha Williams Hayes. Sister of Larry Hayes, Betty Hayes, Mary Hayes Jones, Lemona Hayes and the late Lamont Hayes and Jeanne Hayes. Sister in law of Dorothy Lewis Searls. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Private funeral service was held. Arrangement by DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA
