LINDA SMITH HORTON

Linda Royce “Ms. Lulu” Smith-Horton fell asleep in the arms of her Savior, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the age of 67. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Linda was a retired Housing Manager of HANO at Christopher Homes Park. Loving mother of Philipia Smith, and Phelicia Smith (Ronald Hyde).  Beloved companion and love of her life the late Charles “Puppy” Ross. Devoted grandmother of Kiara Smith, Ronjae Cunnikin, Sonjae Cunnikin, Jarred Riley, and Kiana Smith. Daughter of the late Levi and Helen Smith. Granddaughter of the late Leontine Augustine, Lloyd Williams, Samuuel Smith, and Susie B. Stephens. Sister of Brenda Green, Rhenda Goins, Flenda (Nat) Patterson of Gonzales, TX, Wenda (Virdis) Mackel, Lori (Robert) Harrison, Trenda Toney, Kenda (James) Gibbs, Quenda Smith, Venda Dixon, Levi (Venise) Smith, Jr., and the late Glenda Channey, Zenda Smith, and Louis “Vernon” Smith. Niece of Katherine Causey, Georgia Williams, Annie Williams of Gonzales, TX, and Yvonne Williams of Montgomery, AL. Brother-in-law of the late Elijah Green. Ms. Lulu, as she was affectionately known, is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of First New Testament Missionary and Educational Baptist Church, Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor James Nelson Brown, host pastor; Rev.
