LILLIE L. ROBERTSON

Lillie Lago Robertson, a Licensed Practical Nurse, entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the age of 76. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Lillie was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School and West Jefferson Vocational Technical School of Nursing. She was formerly employed with Charity Hospital, Metropolitan Developmental Center, and Day Haven. Beloved wife of Kenneth Stewart. Loving mother of Aaron Michelle, and Don (Shawan) Ridley, Shannon Robertson (Clarence) Camese, Stacey, Jermaine, and Kelli Robertson. Stepmother of the late Willie Robertson, Jr. and Winfred Robertson.  Lillie reared 8 stepchildren and a grandson Jori Ridley.Daughter of the late Willie Lago, Sr. and Albertha Frazier. Sister of Willie (Valerie) Lago, Jr., Isaih (Nancy) Dunn, Allen Snearl, Sonjia Lynn Wallace, Deloris (Willie) Banks, Kiki Lago, Edith Booker, Marion (Joseph) Tatney, Jerretta Honore, Sandra Grant, Stephanie Hopkins, and the late Darrly Snearl, Rodney Lago, and Barbara Jasper. Niece of the late Pearl Abram. Special thanks to Davita Dialysis. Lillie is also survived by 6 stepchildren, 35 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Word of Truth Fellowship, Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church of Richmond, TX, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Word of Truth Fellowship, 5333 Tullis Drive, New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Herbert Broussard, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery-Carville, LA
