Lidia Del Carmen Salmeron Gomez entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the age of 52. Se was a native of San Salvador, El Salvador and a resident of Harvey, LA. Lidia was a graduate of Immaculata High School, and she attended the University of New Orleans. She was formerly employed with Pupuseria Divino Corazon, a family-owned restaurant. Lidia was an avid New Orleans Saints and a #1 fan of George Michael. Beloved wife of Pablo Gomez. Devoted mother of Ariana, Andrea, and Paola Gomez. Loving daughter of Gloria Salmeron and the late Osmin Salmeron. Sister of Francisco Salmeron. Niece of Rosa Clara Ochoa, Carmen Basilia Ochoa-Ratterman, Julio Salmeron, Roberto Lopez, Jorge Ochoa and Enrique Ochoa. Cherished aunt of Ariel, Aneldy, and Sebastian Salmeron, Diego, Pablo, and Janeth Martinez, Ericka and Araceli Hernandez, Jazmin and Karla Gomez. Daughter-in-law of Josefina Juárez Aguilar. Sister-in-law of Juan Carlos Gómez Juárez, Sergio Gómez Juárez, Victor Gómez Juárez, Maria Del Pilar Gómez Juárez, Olga Lilia Gómez Juárez, and Aisher Diaz. She was also survived by her lifelong friend Leyanira Garcia Avalos, whom she loved as a sister, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, 4401 Seventh Street, Marrero, LA o Friday, December 19, 2025, at 12:00p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:30a.m. until service time at the church.
