Leroy Green entered into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the age of 72. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Leroy was employed as a longshoreman. Beloved husband of the late Ethelyn V. Hayes. Devoted father of Leroy Brock, Ceiona Brock, Tara Hayes, Tangi Sands, and the late Leon Brock. Son of the late Paul and Selena Jones. Brother of Joseph Jones, Mable and Elaine Declouet, Esther Nesbitt, and the late Earl Davis, Calvin Jones, Lena Jones Jimcoily. Godfather of Shavoi Kent, also survived by 44 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00a.m.  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.  Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery, Westwego, LA.
