Leotha Jules Rainey departed this life in Riverdale, GA on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the age of 70. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Laplace, LA. Leotha was a retired Home Health Aide. She was a member of Trumpet in Zion Fellowship. Loving mother of Corey Jules, Tamara Rainey, Harry Rainey, Michael Rainey, Latasha Rainey, and Fredtrena Rainey. Grandmother of the late Daquan Rainey and Brian Rainey. Beloved daughter of the late Lester Watkins and Verlin Jules. Sister of William Watkins, Dwight Watkins, Gaynel Harris, and the late Joe Lozan, Randy Lozan, Vernon Watkins, Lester Watkins, Lovenia Chopin, and Leonell Watkins. Loving companion of Jerro Stuart. Leotha is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
