Lenard Richson, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lenard was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he attended Southern University of Baton Rouge, LA. Lenard served his country in the United States Navy with the Flight Demonstration Squadron and Blue Angels. He was employed as a chauffeur for 16 years, and he also was a Bass Guitar Player for Stop, Inc and Chocolate Milk Band. Beloved husband of Sybil Young-Richson. Loving father of

Son of Alberta London Richson and the late Lenard Richson, Sr. Grandson of the late Lionel Tillman, Sr. and Betty Tillman. Brother of Pamela Tamplin and Simone Richson, of FL, Jeffery (Michelle) Richson, and Arthur (Star) Harris. Father in law of Kerri Berrie of Schriever, LA. Son in law of the late Bert L. Young and Vivian Berry Young.  Brother in law of Gina Boudreaux, Stephanie Thornton of GA, and the late Jesse Tamplin. Nephew of Lenell (James) Clark, Vanessa (Ivory) Wilson, Bernice Berry, Violet London, Thomas Tillman, Lionel Tillman, Jr., and the late Robert Tillman, Alex London, Martha Stewart, and Donald Tillman, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Hosanna Fellowship Church of Gretna, and neighboring churches; employees of Luxury Limousine and faculty and staff of Dorothy Height Charter School are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Troy Johnson officiating.
