Lee’Lani Tre’Chelle Brooks entered eternal rest at University Medical Center on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 9. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Lee’Lani was a student at Dorothy Height Charter School. Devoted daughter of Letisha Johnson and the late Louis Brooks. Stepdaughter of Tyron Depron. Granddaughter of Max and Trina Johnson. Great granddauhter of the late Leroy and Linda Randolph, Mary Lee Jacobs, and Maxin Johnson. Great great granddaughter of the late Joseph King and Ruth Bell. Sister of Treynel Johnson and Ty’Lyn Depron, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastor officers and members of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and neighboring churches; faculty, staff, and students of Dorothy Height Charter School are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church 4128 Franklin Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00A.M. Visitation will begin at 9:00A.M. until service time. Interment: Lakelawn Cemetery, Metairie, LA.
