Larry Gerard Scott entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 75. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Laplace, LA. Larry was a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School. He was a retired security technician with ADT Security. Devoted husband of the late Cynthnia Scott. Beloved father of Monica F. (Louis) Lollis, Yaschia (John) Wilkerson, and Stephanie (Torey) Johnson. Son of the late Sheppard, Sr. and Pearl Scott. Brother of the late Jeanne, Jean, Scibra, Laura, Sheppard, Jr., Bertrand, Edward, and Michael. Larry is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Torrey Fingal of Empowerment Church of NOLA, officiating.
