KEVIN DION PORTER

Kevin Porter departed this life on Saturday, May 25, 2026, at the age of 29. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Kevin was a graduate of Helen Cox High School Class of 2016. He served his country in the Army National Guard, and he was employed with Supreme Offshore Service and Specialty, Inc. Companion of Alexis Lyons. Loving father of Koa Porter and Levi Lyons. Devoted son of Kevin Scott and Monecka Showers. Brother of Davion Scott, Monice Franklin, Kayla Lacure, Kasey Hamilton, Ronneque Lambert, Shaheim and Raheim Showers, and Devin Scott. Kevin is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Home Ministries, and neighboring churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at New Home Ministries, 1616 Robert C. Blakes Sr. Dr, New Orleans, LA, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 10:00am. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
