KERRY SPEARS, JR.

Kerry Spears, Jr. closed the final chapter of his earthly life on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at the age of 31.  He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Kerry was a 2010 graduate of O. Perry Walker High School. He continued his studies at Delgado Community College, where he received an Associate Degree in General Studies. Beloved son of Kerry, Sr. and Trenise Spears. Devoted brother of Jaronay and Bria Spears. Loving grandson of Douglas Anderson, Jr., and Patricia Felix. Kerry is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of First Shiloh Baptist Church, Second Baptist Church, St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, Olive Branch Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; members of O. Perry Walker Class of 2010; employees of Walmart (Behrman Hwy), Piccadilly (Lapalco),  Ochsner Laboratory (Westbank), and McDonalds are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 10:00a.m. Rev. David Richard, Sr., officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
