KENT HENDERSON

Kent Henderson, a self-employed landscaper, departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the age of 54. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, a former resident of Kenner, LA, and a longtime resident of Avondale, LA. Kent was a graduate of Alfred Bonnabel High School. Beloved husband of the late Sheree W. Henderson. Devoted father of Kentrell, Kent Joseph, and the late Kentreon. Son of the late Joseph Henderson, Sr. and May “Jessie Mae” Henderson. Grandson of the late Charles and Rosa Bell. Loving brother of Joseph, Jr., Roger, Darrell, Linda Faye and Penny Henderson, and the late Kathy Johnson, Ronnie Henderson, Sr. and Roy Henderson. Kent is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
