KENNETH MAURICE THOMAS, SR.

Kenneth Maurice Thomas, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the age of 62. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Kenneth was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and he attended New York Community College. He was a self-employed chef and repairman. Companion of Cassandra Floyd. Loving father of A’Keshia Elliott, and Kenneth M. Thomas, Jr. Stepfather of Ariane Harris, and Ivynell Clark. Grandfather of Ellanae Elliott, Damyiah Paul, Dominic Paul, Milton Borne, and Kairi Thomas. Son of Julia Thomas and the late Roosevelt Thomas, Sr. Brother of Rossi Thomas-Wyre, Ursula Henderson, Patricia Hightower, and the late Nadine Lee, Keith Thomas, Sr., Byron Lee and Oris Marshall, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 10:00a.m.  Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. at the above-named church. Interment: Will Be Private.
