KAREN LEMIEUX FAVORITE

Karen Lemieux Favorite entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the age of 64. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. “Baba”, as she is affectionately known to family and friends, was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School. She was an employee of the Jefferson Parish Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement. Loving mother of Clifton Lemieux and Kyra Cameron. Devoted grandmother of Cameron Sidney Lemieux and Kyrie Sunshine Williams. Beloved daughter of the late Sherman and Rosemary Lemieux. Granddaughter of the late Junious and Frances Joseph, Herbert and Elizabeth Lemieux. Sister of Tracy (Steve) Turnage, Carla (Reginald) Simmons, Terri (Charles) LaSalle,  Sherman Stewart, and the late Myra, Wayne, Sherman Jr., and Derrick Sr. Karen is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family and employees of Jefferson Parish Dept. of Inspection and Code Enforcement, Prestigious Rapid Logistics, InclusiveCare, NET Gentilly, Simmon’s Plumbing, TBC Logistics, and LaSalle’s Trucking are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Drive, Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Terry Gullage, Sr., host pastor; Pastor Ernest Weber of Praise Community Church, officiating.
