JUANITA HAYES

Juanita Hayes, age 79, entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Juanita was a retired employee of LaQuinta Inn, and she was a former employee of Best Western and Jani King. Juanita was a member of House of Judah Ministries. Loving mother of Victoria Hayes Dixon and Travis Hayes. Devoted grandmother of Krystal Hayes-Bougere, Christopher (Letticia) Bougere, Jr., Troy Hayes, Kayla Shepard, and Travis Martin. Daughter of the late Robert Haze and Eva Parker Haze. Beloved sister of Delores Parker, Barbara Allen, Robert Hayes, Jr., Murphy Hayes, Davis Hayes, and the late Joseph Hayes, Anna Mae (Robert) Flucker, Doris (Gladstone) Forte, Diana Hayes, and Ruth Hayes. Aunt of the late Gwendolyn Taylor, Kendra Allen, and Ashton Hayes. Sister-in-law of Wendell Parker and Wildew Marie Hayes; also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of House of Judah Ministries and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Juanita Lemieux, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
