JOYCELYN MARIE HUNTSBERRY

Joycelyn Marie Coleman Huntsberry entered into eternal rest at her residence on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the age of 72. She was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Joycelyn was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and Phillips Junior College. She was a formerly employed as a school cafeteria worker. Joyce was President of Zeta Amicae. Beloved wife of the late Edward Larry Huntsberry. Devoted mother of Anitra Huntsberry-Mitchell (Myron), Courtney Huntsberry (Jerome), and Edward Huntsberry (Akeya). Daughter of the late Eulis, Sr. and Bessie Coleman. Loving sister of Donald Coleman (Linda), Bessie Nichols (Arthur), Shelia Coleman, the late Bernadette Boudreaux and Eulis Coleman, Jr. Also cherishing her memories are 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mount Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; members of Zeta Amicae are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 701 Huey P. Long Avenue, Gretna, LA on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Terry Robinson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
