JOSEPH MORRIS, JR,

Joseph “Lil Joe” Morris, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 31, 2021, at the age of 75. He was a native of White Castle, LA and resident Marrero, LA. Lil Joe, as he was affectionately called by family and friends was a retired truck driver with McJunkin Red Man Corporation and Sunbeam Bakery.   Beloved husband of the late Rose Craig Morris. Devoted father of Joseph (Kim) Bright, Wanda (Willie) Gosby, Joseph Morris, III, Craig (Jalesia) Morris, and Shawn (Simone) Morris. Son of the late Joseph Morris, Sr., and Maggie Porter.  Brother of Leonard (Tina) Morris, Michael (Noella) Morris, Mary Porter (Ray), and the late Ethel Mae Morris, Teresa Morris, Lillie Mae Morris Noble, Helen “Odeal” White, Deborah Porter, Delores Porter, Pearlie Mae Morris, and Henry Porter, also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery, 9820 Nine Mile Point Rd.
