Jonathan Sullivan Powell entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the age of 22. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Jonathan was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he was employed as a certified welder. Loving son of Cagerial Bowman and John (Rashida) Powell. Sr. Grandson of Josie Cooper and the late Lorenzo Bowman, Harvey Waters, Sr., Gwendolyn Powell, and Alta Waters. Great grandson of the late Easter Elmore and Willie Byrd. Brother of Denzel Camese, Nicholas Camese, Kaydreyon Bowman, Anecia Bowman, Bailey Mendes, Aquaneisha Powell, Ahmad Young, and Asia Young. Nephew of the late Michael Cooper, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
