John Eldric Young departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the age of 35. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a native of Harvey, LA. John was employed as a Car Detailer. Beloved husband of Natasha Wilson. Stepfather of Kesha, Diamonte, and Michael Wilson. Loving son of the late John Kenneth Young, Jr. and Shantrece Degree Parker. Stepson of Ja’Ron Parker. Grandson of Charlene Degree, Eldric Warmington, and the late Dione Young Mercadel and John Kenneth Young, Sr. Brother of Anthony Degree, Treon Florant, Deron Young, Devery Young, Fabreyan Degree, Norayan Burnside, Jasmine Degree, Jona Young, Jada Scott, Shaunell Young. Nephew of the late Byron, Shawn, and Nicole Young. John is also survived by a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
